The cooking at Qba turns out to be an exciting example in contrasts,
because the
delicacy of the meats and seafood chosen handles very well
the acidity and spice the landscape demands.
At Qba, diners must
also make room for the variety of
tapas that the restaurant serves. The
selection at Qba features the popular Duck and Monterrey Cheese
Quesadillas, Tequila Habanero Barbeque Sauce, Shrimps with Coriander
and Serrano Chilli and the ‘Stamp and Go’ Caribbean Crab Friters. Qba
has also unveiled something new and interesting, The Board – a stylish
presentation of Manchego with Rosemary, Cabrales Blue, San Simon
Smoked, Crumbled Spanish Fetta, Bresaola and Chorizo. For cold tapas,
nothing beats Fruit Paletas – Qba’s version of Frozen Popsicles that
comes in your favourite flavours of Pina Colada, Cuba Libre and Mojito
Mint.
There are also the
sauces, salsas, salads and vegetables
to be reckoned with. The array of mouth-watering flavours include spicy
Tequila Habanero Tomato Relish and the all-time favourite Chimichurri
sauces, Jalapeno and Mint salsas and vegetables of Saffron and Tabasco
Mash, and Grilled Corn, Ancho Chilli Butter.
Desserts at Qba are
decadent. They come in exotic flavors and textures; try the Guava
Cheesecake – served with maple ice cream and ginger crumble biscuit.
Or, excite your taste palate with the Cinammon Dusted Chuross, Mexican
Hot Chocolate. Try the Frozen Popsicles again – this time bursting in
tangy flavors of Pineapple and Coconut, Mango and Passion Fruit, and
