Ruth's Chris Steak House Opens First Restaurant in Japan New Franchised Location Brings Total to 112 Worldwide
Heathrow, Fla., October 25, 2007 – Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Inc., (Nasdaq: RUTH), the largest fine-dining company, today announced the opening of a new franchised restaurant in Tokyo, Japan, bringing the total number of restaurants to 112 worldwide. This is Ruth’s Chris first location in Japan, and the sixth location for franchise owners William and Stanley Ko who currently own and operate three locations in Taiwan and two in Hong Kong.

Kasumigaseki, placing Ruth’s Chris in the middle of downtown Tokyo, and located in the political and administrative heart of the city. Ruth’s Chris Tokyo offers seating for 140 guests in the main dining room and has a private dining space that can accommodate up to 40 additional guests.
