Here it is. We are two entrepreneurs passionate about steak. So passionate in fact that wherever we travel (and we do travel quite a bit) we always try to find a local steakhouse, be it in the US, UK, Israel, Switzerland, France, Belgium, Thailand, Singapore, you name it... We must admit - the degree of our success at locating a good local steakhouse offering truly mouthwatering steaks varied.

We noticed that it's not easy to find best local steakhouses online. Often you have to sift through endless lists of all sorts of restaurants to get to those serving steak. And when you do, how do you know - are they worth your dollar (or euro, or shekel for that matter)?

Besides, if you go to the popular search engines you will likely be swamped by the listings and ads for the big chain steakhouses. While some of them are worth trying, others lack character and taste. We have tried a few of those too...

We thought we could do something to help our fellow steak lovers and came up with the idea of SteakhouseFinder.com. Focusing exclusively on steak serving restaurants, it will help steak fans find their perfect local steakhouse. In this first stage we decided to focus on the US - the land of sizzling steaks and demanding steak eaters. Also, we intentionally focus on family run steakhouses and small chains. It's time to promote uniqueness and enterprise!
